Older Pedestrians at Risk (2011)

Older pedestrians are far more likely to be killed while walking than their younger neighbors, according to an analysis by the Tri-State Campaign. This is especially true in New Jersey, downstate New York, and Connecticut, where fatality rates for older pedestrians are far higher than in the rest of the country.
