Older Pedestrians at Risk (2014)

Older pedestrians are more likely to be killed while walking than their younger neighbors, according to an analysis by the Tri-State Transportation Campaign. This is especially true in the tri-state area, where average fatality rates for older pedestrians are higher than the nationwide average.
